Hi Forum,

I need to make the data values more visible in a Visualisation but I can only seem to be able to change the Font colour. This helps but I really need to make the Font size larger.

Is this a current feature or is there a workaround if not?

Thanks

Hi Again,

I assume then that there's no way to do this &/or it's not yet available?

Can any SAS Gurus confirm this for me?

Also, is it possible to use a Strored process to do this?

Thanks

Which visualization are you trying to do this for? Also, when you say "data values", you are talking about the data labels that can be displayed in the chart, correct? In SAS Visual Analytics, version 7.3, you can change the font size of data labels under Styles --> Text Styling --> Data tip value.

Please let me know if this is what you're looking for.

Thanks!

Hi varsha_sas,

I have a Vertical Bar Chart & yes, it's the Data Labels I want to make bigger.

I'll give your tip a try on Monday.

Appreciate your help!

Hi varsha_sas,

I'm using version 7.2 (Hotfix) & Visualisations don't have a 'Style' tab.

Reports have it but I'm looking to change this is a Visualisation.

Any ideas on when this may become available?

Cheers

Hi OscarBoots1,

Got it. Visualizations in the Explorer indeed don't have a 'Style' tab. If you've already created your bar chart in Explorer, you can export it out to Designer as a report by going to File --> Export --> Exploration as Report. Once you open this up in Designer, you'll be able to enlarge the data labels by adjusting the font size in the 'Style' tab. The Explorer was designed for ad-hoc data analysis and therefore will not have a 'Style' tab, as we find that most users create formal reports and dashboards in the Designer instead.

I hope this helps!

Thanks varsha_sas for clarifying.

We can do that once the Visualisation is built.

Thanks again
