HI,

I was working on the SAS VA platform and somehow the Public LASR server stopped working ( i have no idea how ). Now if i try to restart the server i get the below error :

SUCCESS (SASJob PreCode)
SUCCESS (Store Process ID)
ERRORS (Start Server)
----------------------------------------------
ERROR: The license for HPA/LASR has expired.
ERROR: Libref ML is not assigned.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.

I am not sure what the issue is here but it was first started by SASDEMO.

I don't have access to locate the pid created earlier due to permissions.

Would appreciate any help.

This is your problem:

ERROR: The license for HPA/LASR has expired.

Your SAS VA licence has expired so you will need to update it before you can restart your Public LASR server.

@SASKiwi - thanks for your response.

Do you know how can I achieve this ? I have searched the internet and there is no mention of it.

Error indicates that your License expired;

Here is the link to renew your SAS Software with new License file:

@Kalind_Patel - thanks for the reply.. looks like the link is for Base SAS license renewal. Would it work for SAS VA as well ?

Thanks,

looks like i might not have the proper level of access to perform most of the tasks. Might contact SAS Administrator to perfom these.
