In our organization, we are not implemeting the auto load feauture.

we are experiencing frequent LASR down problems, every time we need to upload our data files again into LASR server.

So, can we configure an email which is triggered whenever the LASR server is down. SO, that we can react quickly.

Thanks

Sundeep

Hi,

of course you can. Speak with your admins. They should have enterprise monitoring tools. If they monitor the listening status of the LASR server's port number, then they can also create a mail alert.

Besides this practical/operational approach, I would seriously investigate the log files of the LASR server and the Operating System why the LASR service is going down.

Regards,

Juan
