Can we build a new dataset in SAS VA?

I have a task to create a form  where we can provide end user an option to input data in a SAS dataset , then we have to create Dashboard on it using SAS VA.

I am comfortable with second part but not sure if we can create a SAS form with input options and then connect it with a table (SAS Dataset or any other DB.)

I don't think that there is a data entry functionality OOTB in VA. There are a variaty of options for you, like importing user edited Excel files, building an Ajax application using stored process and use Excel as a front end for SAS data (requires Office Analytics or Add in for MS Office).
