Can we assign a dynamic value to parameter as default value(Current Value) in report Designer ?

Hi Friends,

Can we give a dynamic value, such as Avg of Measure as default value(Current Value) to parameter instead of fixed, hardcoded value?

Example:

Cat    Measure

a          10

a           15

b            12

c             11.5

Now i want to create a parameter with avg of "measure" as default value and it should be dynamic(to change as measure values changes). For now I can only enter the hardcoded value as default(Current) value.

Can anyone, please help if you have any Idea in such situations.

Hi Anandi,

This is not possible in the current release, but it's definitely a nice enhancement to request. Would you mind sharing your suggestion in the Ideas Section of the community?
