I am very new to SAS VA, so I would like to understand its capabilities.

Say I have a dataset (with 100 records) with numeric age variable and user ID variable. Under SAS VA, I created a new varialble which is a categorical age-group variable and I display it in a report and dashboard.

Now I have another 200 new records of the same data fields, is it possible for me to swap the original dataset with the new dataset, and display all the same report and dashboard results without me manually re-creating the Age-group variable and clicking and pointing to create the previously generated reports and dashboard?

Swapping data sources is possble in VA, but if you are just adding new records just add them to the existing table and reload into VA. This won't affect any VA-defined categories or formulas.

Thanks, but can you let me know how to properly swap the datasets?
