Tracking Atlantic Tropical Storms in SAS Visual Analytics

A SAS Visual Analytics report showing the tracks of all Atlantic storms from 1850 to 2020. The report utilizes a recently added geographical line overlay which allows rendering of high number of tracks or routes. Users can filter the report by year and system types as well as explore changes such as maximum recorded wind speed over time. Data shows that recent decades record more tropical storms, with higher average wind speed.
