SAS Hackathon - Innovating Together

With the 2024 SAS Hackathon now being complete - I thought about visualizing some of the related statistics using a SAS Visual Analytics report. I used a portrait precision layout configuration for this infographic with individual containers focusing on different statistics. Along with some text analytics to understand general topics of team submissions, it also shows the geographical distribution and number of participants by team and industry track.

Hi @FalkoSchulz , great work! How did you create the shape(one side rounded and one side cornered) behind topics?

I used a flow container with a text object (with header text) and the following image to the right of it:

Not sure how well this is visible here .. but the inner circle is transparent in this image, so it will take on the background color of the flow container (e.g. blue). The outside is colored white and matches the actual report background. Easy!👌

It’s a true cross-border innovation incubator.

You rarely see such large-scale collective problem-solving in analytics.
