The City of Melbourne has automated pedestrian counting sensors located across the city. These sensors provide pedestrian counts for the previous hour at the given location. The following SAS Visual Analytics report shows the geographical location of each sensor along with a street view given a selected sensor. The bottom charts give an indication of pedestrian counts during the day as well as expected counts using a 12-month forecast.
The geographical map also includes a travel distance polygon showing sensors located in 800 meters walking distance given the point of interest.

Great dashboard @FalkoSchulz and interesting data collection. I look forward to contributing to the counts when I visit Melbourne next month 😉
Cheers,

Again a really nice and informative dashboard 🙂 !
I especially like the way you have worked with "damped" colors.
