Hi,
Go back into your course and check the Table of Contents on the left side of the video display area. Each and every item must be checked in the Table of Contents or else your badge will not be unlocked -- even if you pass the final quiz. The Data Literacy courses impose a restriction on the badge that the student must complete (or have checks) next to EVERY item in the Table of Contents.
Also, be sure to go back into the course on a desktop or laptop computer, NOT on a tablet or cellphone. The scoring and badge notice to Credly needs to use scripting and popup windows that do not always work on mobile devices.
We do not store your badges on the SAS web site. You must click the Claim this badge link on the badge icon to send your badge notice to Credly. Then you need to create a Credly (www.Credly.com) account in order to accept your badge and work with your badge.
If you have EVERY item in the Table of Contents checked and you have passed the quiz and you do NOT see the Claim this badge link on the badge icon, then you should send mail to elearn@sas.com with your full name and the email you're using to take the class, so we can check the progress on the server. (Although the most frequent reason for the server not showing the correct progress happens because students take the Data Literacy classes on their phone or tablet.)
Also, I almost forgot a few items, when you do click the Claim this badge link, you only need to do it one time. That should send a notice of your badge award to Credly. Credly will then send you an email about the badge. Even if you do NOT get the email or it gets misdirected into a spam or junk folder, you can always just go to the Credly web site and create an account or access your Credly dashboard to see the badges that you've been awarded.
Once you've accepted your badge, going back into the class and clicking the Claim this badge link does not trigger another email from Credly. Credly sends you 1 mail about your badge award. If you take the class this year and earn a badge and then if you repeat the class next year, you won't get a second badge notice from Credly for the taking the class a second time.
