I am getting the message below each time i try to run my setup files in sas studio. What could be the problem and how best can i solve this.
user sasdemo has insufficient permissions to create /folders/myfolders/.images/.contact your system administrator to resolve.
I get the same error and am using SAS University Edition.
How can I change this?
Hello @mavhundut and @KerB,
please check your pre-requisites.
https://support.sas.com/software/products/university-edition/faq/shared_folder_access.htm
https://support.sas.com/software/products/university-edition/faq/main.htm --> check the area of I am having trouble accessing my files
And, finally: https://support.sas.com/software/products/university-edition/docs/en/SASUniversityEditionInstallGuid...
My initial guess:
- /myfolder on SASStudio should be pointing to your local folder, as created on the Virtual Machine.
- So, or this folder is not created or registered on the virtual machine settings,
- or you don;t have enough permissions on that folder.
Hope it helps a bit.
Kind regards,
Juan
