tasks don't work

I was trying to use tasks for the first time and they didn't work.  I can click things, but it doesn't generate any code.  Do I need to do something to enable them. 

Will the Machine Learning tasks work without being licensed for Visual Machine Learning?  Although, I can't get even the basic descriptive tasks to work.

Please be very specific about versions and provide more info like eventually a screenshot how things look for you.
