I am running the Kendall Tau test using Proc Corr is SAS.   I am testing for a trend over time (by year), with only one value per year so there is no seasonal component.   I believe the Kendall Tau procedure can generate a slope, in my case change year.    How do I get that output from the Kendall tau option in Proc Corr, or should I use another procedure.   Thanks!

Have you tried to create and export to external dataset and then create a graph?

Sure - I have the data in EXEL and can create a graph, but what good does
that do? Also, in SAS I have created graphs and calculated a slope using
linear regression.

However, it is my understanding that that there is a slope produced by the
non-parametric Kendall Tau test that is different than the Kendall Tau
statistic that is reported in Proc Corr. Possibly it is the average slope
between pairs, I am not really sure Can that be produced by Proc Corr or
another procedure.

Thank you
