I am trying to connect to a github repository from SAS Studio - I use Virtual box.
I keep getting an error when connecting to the github repository in SAS Studio (again, I run through Virtualbox on my mac), based on the error SAS suggested I install the Hotfix D9T110, which I also downloaded. The instructions for installing the Hot Fix are found here:
http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/HF2/D/D9T/D9T110/xx/lax/D9T110la.html
To do so I need to install the SAS Deployment Manager which I downloaded from here: https://support.sas.com/en/technical-support/maintenance/hot-fixes/hot-fix-analysis-download-deploym...
Install instructions found here:
https://tshf.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/HF2/SASHFADD_usage.pdf
But, how do I actually install the SAS Deployment Manager? The instructions say to create a directory, so what should I name the folder? - Should I put the folder in the SASUniversityEdition folder?
Then the instructions untar the file using the command...where do I type these commands? - Is there a command-line tool for Virtual Box? Is it possible to use the terminal app on my mac?
1. Create a directory on your UNIX system where SASHFADD will reside.
2. Download the SASHFADDux.tar file to that directory.
3. Untar the SASHFADDux.tar file using the following command: tar -xvf SASHFADDux.tar
4. Generate a DeploymentRegistry.txt file for your SAS deployment as described in SAS Note 35968.
5. Copy the generated DeploymentRegistry.txt file to the same directory as the SASHFADD.pl file.
6. Run the perl SASHFADD.pl command...
