Hi,
I'm new to SAS. I'm using SAS OnDemand - SAS Studio. When I write some code and click on Save AS, I get a window where I click on the folder and type in the program name. Then I get a pop up window saying the program already exists, but it does not. If I click replace it puts some other program into the new file name. What are the proper steps to take to save code?
Thank you
Those sound like the correct steps.
On the program editor, of the program you want to save, Click the save icon
Make sure to navigate to the folder where you want to save the program.
Type in a new program name
Click Save.
If this isn't work, i would suggest trying it with a really random name, ie RandomProgramName23 and post a screenshot of the errors you're receiving.
Attached are the screen shots showing that the file does not exist on the left side, yet I get a message saying it does exist.
Does the saved program have the file you want? Otherwise I think you need to talk to tech support on this one.
You did a folder refresh after the "save as/replace". But did you do a folder refresh PRIOR to "save as"? If the program file was not present in that context, it would be far more convincing.
Good news: We've extended SAS Hackathon registration until Sept. 12, so you still have time to be part of our biggest event yet – our five-year anniversary!
