hey guys... I am very new to this..
But I can not seem to make a permenant libarary in SAS studio edition.
LIBNAME saspmv 'c:\PMV\PMVdata';
I want to create "saspmv" folder in library, which is directy under C drive on my PC.
error message I get is:
SAS On Demand does not see your desktop, its operating on servers in the cloud.
To use your own data you need to upload it to the server.

Your screen shot says the library was created successfully...so what's the issue?
ok so re-did the steps.. and it does show up mydata in library which I created. But I do not see excel sheet that I want to use which I have uploaded on my PMV folder in folders tab.

Libraries only hold SAS datasets.
Did you import the excel sheet into your library? Post that code if it did not work, but I'm guessing you've missed this step.
You need to click on Files icon first and then the Upload icon on top. This will allow you to upload the file to the correct folder.
