I want to compare two datasets from different libraries, basically i want to look for values in the datasets which are different. Please help me write the query. I am confused between using except corr and except all.

In what sense?  Do you mean a row by row comparison, by certain identifiers, by distinct lists of values?  Post some example test data in the form of a datastep:

And what the output should be like.

 

All I can say from what you have posted is that there is a procedure called proc compare which is for comparing datasets.  Other than that I know nothing of your problem.
