I usually work on dataset which I create with a program (SAS base), which import from a .xls file.
If I need to save the dataset in a permanent manner (at the moment when I disconnect SAS Studio the dataset is deleted) in the WORK area, using it as a "database" permanent, how can I do? My objective is to have a file in Visual Studio (cloud, University Edition) which can be integrate / modify etc. and, obviuously, analyzed with my SAS base program (without needing to import from .xls file every time...).
Thanks, regards
Gianluca
Define a libname for your shared folder, like
libname perm '/folders/Myfolder';
and then set your target of the import to that library instead of work.
