Occasionally (less than 1 time in 100), when I submit code in SAS/Studio it executes, but no log is displayed. Depending on what the code was, output and generated datasets are displayed as normal, but the log is completely blank.
I've recently found that when this occurs I can go to the submission history and view the previous submission and in there the log displays correctly. So the log is being captured, it's just not being displayed in the 'live' program window.
Has anyone else experienced this?
This is on Studio 3.8 (Enterprise Edition) with SAS 9.4M6
Maybe there is a variable assigned with a truncated value. Try to specify length for any character variables.
This happens to me, too. It used to be very infrequent, but in the last few months, it has begun to happen much more often. At least daily.
Good news: We've extended SAS Hackathon registration until Sept. 12, so you still have time to be part of our biggest event yet – our five-year anniversary!
