I am trying to check if I can run automated batch job in SAS Studio. For example, I have couple of codes which I want to run in different time and want to schedule so that when the time comes the specific code starts running. I referred to the site: How to run SAS Studio 5 program on a schedule? - SAS Support Communities but I saw user opened SAS Job Execution which I do not find in SAS Studio.

Please can somebody help.

Thanks,

Siuli Basu

SAS Environment Manager is commonly used to schedule SAS programs regardless of whether they were developed in SAS Studio, Enterprise Guide or the SAS Windowing System.

Thanks for your reply. Is SAS Environment manager an additional software I need to install? I wanted to know how can I access that to schedule my codes that are in SAS Studio.

What version of SAS do you use? Environment Manager can either be a PC installed app or a web interface like SAS Studio. Your SAS administrator should be able to advise.

I use SAS Studio in web browser. The SAS version is 9.04.

I will talk to my Admin.

Thank you very much for your help. This is good to know that using environment manager I will be able to schedule SAS codes from SAS Studio. Very useful information.
