Love the batch submission process for SAS Studio which was desperately needed. We were excited to roll this out to our environment and now available to hundreds of users in support of Duke Clinical Research!!!
One big ask we have is that a search/find feature be added to the text view when opening logs. Often times we need to see why a job is failed or some diagnostics of either a scheduled or batch submitted job. At this point whenever a log is open we can only scroll through a log and manually look for information.
The second big request is to have some feedback when a batch job submission is completed, we can see when it is complete but we do not know if it was succesfull and then need to go through the logs. This can be done easily by keeping an eye out on the return code to see if there was an execution or even warning.
Hi @epower, thank you for posting this! Would you take a moment and add this idea to the SASware Ballot? That will put it in the pipeline for SAS R&D to consider. If you have other ideas to submit, you can find "SASware Ballot Ideas" in the "Find a Community" menu at communities.sas.com.
Hi @epower, thank you for your suggestions. I believe that the following features that have been added to the next release of SAS Studio will provide your users with what they want.
You don't need to add this idea to the SASware Ballot as these features have been added to the next release.

Great news, @samdupont, thank you for posting this!
HiSam,
Thanks for the update and I see that batch job has some more updates with the log destionations as well. These are all really nice additions. Jumping down to errors, warnings, and notes will probably satisfy 99% of the search requirements.
Great to hear we are moving in the right direction. Any feedback (both good and improvements) helps us make your user experience better, so please keep your comments coming.
Thx again.
