On trying to launch SAS Studio 9.4, I got the error below:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine SAS University Edition.

The VM session was closed before any attempt to power it on.

Result Code:

E_FAIL (0x80004005)

Component:

SessionMachine

Interface:

ISession {7844aa05-b02e-4cdd-a04f-ade4a762e6b7}

The last few weeks, i had been getting notices to get the latest Oracle Virtual Box version. I tried to download it but it failed. I got no such notice this time.

What next?

Thanks.

Hi @dkcundiffMD ,

Sorry you are having trouble!  Try going into the VirtualBox Manager, right-clicking your virtual machine, and selecting Discard saved state and then starting it again.

I hope that helps!

thanks,

Jennifer
