I am a graduate student of UMUC. I used my SAS during the 2017 spring
semester, but I could not use it again now. I guess I have an outdated
version.

I'm sorry, that doesn't actually explain your issue. If you received SAS from your school we can't help you. If you want SAS to use now, see SAS University Edition but it's Base SAS and SAS/STAT which is free for education usage, ie non-commercial usage.
