Just upgraded my ORACLE VirtualBox to 5.2.8 today. The update worked fine with the correct sub-folder specified in settings; however, when I started SAS UE (release 3.7.1), the 'server files and folders' path was altered to "folder shortcuts>>sf_my folders" instead of the original  "folder shortcuts>>myfolders" which is in all the SAS programs I've previously written. Not sure what happened or if anyone had the same experience....

Hi Chris, Thanks for pointing to the link; revert to the old VirtualBox back to 5.2.6 worked for me. The problem was caused by upgrading to a more updated VirtualBox. I guess there is some issue with the SAS - ORACLE interface that needs to be worked out.

Hi, @SASuser-123 and @ChrisBrooks. Indeed, VirtualBox 5.2.8 broke a command used to mount the Shared Folder. Here's a link to the bug report:
