Hi,

I have a problem working in SA studio, suddenly it's getting automatically logged out after every couple of minutes and henceforth I'm not being able to do a single coding complete till now.

Please look after the issue urgently as my classes are going on and I'm sitting idle.

Thank you
Steve Franz

@sjfranz,

I need to know your SAS Studio version. 3, 4, or 5?

I'm using SAS online. How do I determine the version?

@sjfranz,

Click on the question mark in the top right corner and select About SAS Studio.

@sjfranz,

Thanks. Click on "three lines and dots" icon next to question mark, select Preferences and go to Start Up on the left-hand side. Set your time-out interval to 24 hours and click Save.

Ok I can only go a max of 3 hours or it says I'm out of range. And it did not fix the problem.

@sjfranz,

In most cases, those setting will resolve the logout issue. There is something specific either to your network or browser, you have to open a SAS Technical Support Track. You can do it here:
