Hi,
I recently logged into SAS and found that all of my files were gone. I stupidly had not downloaded them onto my computer. Is there any way to retrieve lost fiels? Are all files somehow deleted after a certain amount of time? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
What paltform do you use ? and what OS ?
Maybe files can be found using OS tools.
Hi,
I also can not see any of my folder and dataset in web version of SAS studio. Till today morning all the files were there but when i have login now i could not see any of them.I am using Win-8 operating system.
Does any one have idea why this could happen?
Thanks in advance.
So you are using SAS STUDIO with WIN-8.
Is it SAS University Edition? - If not - do you have access to your SAS server ? WEB server ?
Talking about lost files - do you mean programs ? sas datasets ? flat_files ? all kinds ?
Do you have your input files in case you need recreate your sas datasets ?
Thanks a lot Shmuel.
I have restarted my PC and now i could see everything .don't khow how.
By the way i am using university edition.
Hi Shmuel,
I'm using SAS Studio, University Edition online. My computer is a Mac, operating OS X. I saved my datasets online, under my user name, as sas files. I still have the original datasets in Excel, but all of the coding was of course in the SAS files, which just disappeared from one day to the next. I wonder how this could be, or if there is any back-up that may exist of them somewhere? Thanks for any help!
Ivan
The same issue i have faced yesterday.
I have just restarted my laptop and again when i login to SAS I was able to see all my files.
You could also try that.
Thanks,
