Hi guys
I am curious is it possible to change to dark them in SAS studio?

Not available in On Demand. Could try the Chrome settings but I haven't bothered.
Edit: Dark theme is supported in SAS Studio within SAS Viya 4, but not in older versions (v3.81 is part of SAS 9.4, and that's what drives SAS OnDemand for Academics).
Hi @Nietzsche,
Which version of SAS Studio are you using?
Newer versions of SAS Studio on SAS Viya do have a dark theme. If you click your username in the upper-right corner to access the Application options --> Settings --> General --> Theme --> Choose a theme --> select either "Ignite" or "Dark" as the theme.
I am not sure if this was available in earlier versions of SAS Studio (such as the 3.x series) but I will try to check.
Best,
-Brian

thanks for the confirmation.
Hopefully SAS will release a dark theme for SAS OnDemand soon in the future.
Hi, Brian
I am very interested in the topic. My company installed 3.81 (basic version) SAS Studio, and I couldn't find Theme related option. In PC SAS base or SAS EG, I always set a dark background which is very comfortable for coding operations.
Is there any way that I could do the same for this SAS Studio(v3.81)? Since SAS Studio works in a browser, could we reset the browser to realize the "Dark Studio " interface?
Thanks
Don

I've created a dark theme for SAS Studio versions 3.8, 3.81, and 3.82. I also created a new light theme that's not too bright. They work via the Stylus browser extension, available for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
Here's a screenshot of the dark theme:
I'm not able to test if the themes work for SAS OnDemand for Academics (SOA), but if SOA runs on SAS Studio 3.81, then there's a decent chance it will work.
I created a separate post about my themes with installation instructions here:

And the themes themselves live in my github repo here:
