Hello, I was wondering about how to import a sas7bdat file with proc import.

I've done some search for it but all I can find was using LIB with DATA.

Thanks in advance!

Your search is correct. PROC IMPORT is to create a sas7bdat file but if you already have you use it directly by referencing it, no need for an import step. It's kind of like asking how to open an Excel file with Excel?

libname myfiles '/folders/myfolders/';

data myData;
set myFiles.dataSetName;
run;
