How to prevent showing automatically open generated output data

In SAS university edition a new tab open to show the output data. It is particularly annoying when dealing with large data with many variables as it takes too long to show the data. How to prevent it?

Check preferences. If there's an option it will be in there. I suspect there may be no option but it's why results are limited to first 100 obs. Feel free to add it to the idea section or ballotware as a suggestion for future versions.

Go to Preferences > Results. There is an option called "Automatically open generated output data". Uncheck that option.
