I'm running SAS Studio mid-tier/enterprise.  I'm writing a tutorial, and copy/pasting code into powerpoint.  However, that code is always only text - it has no syntax highlighting associated with it.

Is there a way to do this?  And if not, is this something that can be addressed, either by adding functionality to SAS Studio, or through perhaps a task or something that can run arbitrary text through the syntax highlighter and output to a file?

Try print code: This will open the code in new tab, copy code from here and past in PowerPoint.Capture.PNG

If the source is highlighted it may be the way you are pasting into power point.

For instance, at least with Power Point 2016 if I right click on a slide I get a pop-up menu with 3 clipboard icons. The two on the left keep formatting of two different flavors while the one on the right is plain text.

Or alt-e s brings up a Paste Special box which in my case defaults to show paste as Formatted Text (RTF) when pasting from the Enhanced Editor in SAS Display manager with an option of "Unformatted text".

By any chance did you set the Power Point advanced option for Cut, Copy and Past not to use smart cut and paste or not show paste options buttons?

Unfortunately, I thought of most of that already, though very good suggestions. Only "Keep Text" shows up in the paste options; when I paste from EG it works as expected (i.e., I get my syntax highlighting and the three usual paste options). The paste special keycombo shows only "Unformatted text".
