I have values within some character variables that are longer than 8, which is the default.

How do I lengthen these values so that the data input step  can read these in?

data Concordance_MAP;
input DV $ IV $ CC LCL UCL ;
datalines;
BI_A_MAP BI_LA_MAP 0.5813 0.4376 0.696

etc.....

;
run;

Thank you so much!

I never would have thought of this approach on my own. Was trying to do this with a length statement and format / informat statements.
