Hi experts, anyone who can help with this issue? I cannot access SAS studio (SAS OnDemand) today. I never had this problem before. I tried disconnect my internet and restart my computer but still cannot access. Anyone can help solve this issue, thanks a lot! The screen capture is as follows:

Hi @dxiao2017, please contact [email protected] for help. I just tested access and it worked, however you might have tried at a point where SODA was under maintenance. The SODA team will be able to troubleshoot.
Hi @antonbcristina , thanks a lot for your reply! I emailed [email protected] and got reply tells me that my account is ok and I tried in-private browsing (I use Edge) as suggested and still got the same problem (403 Forbidden) and it looks I still cannot access all oda.sas.com pages. I do not know if it is my browsing settings, cookies, or internet, router settings problem, I will continue try solve the issue and email [email protected]
for help.
And @antonbcristina I think maybe your are right that the site is under maintenance, I tried to open welcome.oda.sas.com using other browser (e.g.,firefox, see attached screen capture) and my cellphone connecting to internet through my phone number (I am in China) not my router, and got same Forbidden message. I used another cellphone connect to my router and got this message again (except the port number is different, see last screen capture).
I am preparing for my SAS cert. exam right now, and what make things more stressful is that my lease is up and I need to look for new rental and move the coming two weeks, and I cannot change my cert.exam date (last time when I postponed and changed my exam date a message popped up tells me that due to I change exam date too many times I cannot change the exam date again), what is more stressful is that I do not have a job right now (in fact I am in this unemployment situation for a long while), if I want to get a job I'd better pass the cert.exam and got the certificate (to prove my capability I think) because I do not have work experience in the area. Extremely stressful things occur at the same time (and in fact for a very long while I am always in this kind of situation, I do not know why and do not understand), this is so crazy

hey, you are more courageous than me. I prepared the exam a log time.
Facing the same message 'Apache Server at welcome.oda.sas.com Port 443' as you.
Read SAS book or exam example may be better.
I believe you can get the cert. All is well.
Hi @patrol , thanks a lot for reply my post, so did you got the issue (Apache server port 443 and 403 Forbidden error) solved later? Do you know what does this Apache server port 443 and 403 Forbidden error mean? Thanks a lot!
Hi @dxiao2017, if you are in the mainland, try some vpn.
if it is maintenance, it is a log shut-down.
Echo Ksharp, i am trying to rotate to R field and keep getting a SAS Cert.
Hi @patrol , thanks for reply again. I do not use VPN (I have not tried use any VPN so far). I do not have much knowledge about technical issues. And good luck in your R and SAS learning and certification exam!
Hi @Ksharp , it is a surprise that you reply this post, you never replied any of my thread before even in those posts about SAS coding. What do you mean by "I dive into wrong field"? I know you are in clinical SAS programming field for about 30 years and you are so good at coding for tables/figures/listings/statistics and datasets. As for Python and AI, I never think I would learn or get a job relate to them, just never think of them I do not know why (and in fact I only heard of Python and do not know what tool it is the only knowledge is it can be used deal with statistics models), and for AI, all my knowledge is use my PC and cellphones tools and some commonly used Apps, I do not have more knowledge about AI.
"I dive into wrong field"
I mean you are going with a wrong direction ,or picking up a wrong skill/software.
In China ,it is very hard to find a job related to SAS.
Even SAS company in China has dropped out at Nov2025. All the SAS employee in China have lost their job! But I love to see it happended ! 😀
In order to get a job, you could try to learn others like Java,C# if you don't like Python .

Hi thanks a lot for further reply @Ksharp . I think by suggesting that I "dive into wrong field", you mean both clinical trial data analysis and clinical SAS programming field, am I right? I do not have any education or work background in the field, you have about 30 years experience in the field and you are so good at programming for tables, figures, listings, statistics, and datasets, hearing this suggestion from a person like you make me upset and uncomfortable, I have to say.
I do not have much knowledge about technical and business issues, but thank you for providing those information about SAS China and suggestion about Java and C (I only heard of these and do not have any knowledge about them). I am preparing for my SAS cert. exam at the moment and I just hope I can access my ODA again asap, you know that day when I click the button to access ODA as I did every day but got denied I feel like 天都塌了.
Anyway good luck to your work and job (because I feel a lot of people including me, are worrying about jobs and job markets).
Hi All,
You can try to contact our Customer Engagement Center to learn more about why this might not be working for you. See Free Online Learning for SAS for more information about what is available.
Oh my god, it feels like I've found a comrade-in-arms! My situation is exactly the same as yours. I've also been studying SAS for some time and am preparing to take the certification exam soon. But suddenly, it was banned. I've tried many methods but still couldn't make it. Then I'm considering whether to switch to learning R instead.I'm so sad.
