Welcome to the new SAS Software for Learning Community Forum!

I'm an instructor and Curriculum Consultant with SAS. I've been answering SAS programming, reporting and Output Delivery System questions since the beginning of the SAS Community Forums, so I was thrilled to be asked to write this brief introduction. This new Community Forum is focused on SAS Software for Learning. If you want to learn, we've got two methods that will work for you: SAS OnDemand for Academics on our cloud server and SAS Viya for Learners.

First things first, we want questions like Cookie Monster wants cookies. Seriously though, if you've got questions, the Community has answers. And, in all honesty, if we don't have the answer you're looking for, there's a really good chance we'll ask questions or make suggestions to help you focus your attention in the right direction. You can make it easy for the Community members help you by following the recommendations in this Getting Started article on how to get helpful answers. Here's the link:

You might be using SAS Viya for Learners and the applications available on that platform. Or, you could have a SAS OnDemand for Academics account to use SAS Studio or use Jupyter Notebook and SASpy .. Maybe you're studying on your own using the interfaces to prepare for certification. Maybe you're taking sponsored classes through a college or university, where your instructor has invited you to share the class folder. Or, maybe you're just curious and want to learn more about SAS software. You've landed at the right place.

This forum is replacing the forum that supported the SAS University Edition method for accessing SAS. If you are having issues making the transition away from SAS University Edition, this is also the place to ask those questions. Here are some useful links related to using the SAS Software for Learning.

We're glad you're here! Now it's your turn. Ask away!
