Hi,

I am using SAS On Demand for Academics. I have some xpt files larger than 1 GB, that I cannot upload. Is it possible to compress the file and upload it? Or how can I break down to upload? Or is there another version of SAS I can download that will handle the file sizes?

Any help is appreciated as I just need to convert the xpt files to csv! Thanks.

This post about unzipping a zipped archive should be helpful: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Software-for-Learning/importing-SAS-dataset-from-a-ZIP-archive-in...

If you zip up your XPT files before uploading, then unzip once uploaded that should help you get around the upload file size limit.

Thanks! I tried using this format, unfortunately some of the code is different for XTP files to import. Would you be able to elaborate xpt specific on how to decompress inside of SAS?
