Is there a feature in SAS-Studio or R-Studio that allows the user to convert their SAS or R code into another analytics programming language ?  Is there a universal conversion tool that will convert  any analytics programming language into another (similar to language translators?

 

Is there a compiler that will allow a user to write code in different languages and compile those languages individually, during the same Run sequence, but generating only 1 output that could include SAS code outputs when merging files  but the R output for visualizations?

I am going to be banned for this comment, but Altair SLC can combine SAS, R and Python in the same program!

Unless you're going to use an LLM like chatGPT, no, there's not a way to do this.  Better yet, though, don't use R.  The idea that R is better for visualizations is very outdated.

The question is does the product convert SAS code to R code? To Python? to SPSS or STATA perhaps? Or R code to SAS, Python, SPSS, STATA or other analysis program code?

 

Since SAS code currently can combine SAS, R and Python another tool doing the same isn't surprising.

@ballardw I answered only the 2nd question! I'm not sure even a human could achieve the 1st request!!

Thank you for the information.  The reason I asked this question is because I am stronger with R and Python, and I struggle with SAS so I wondered if I can write my code in R and translate it into SAS or any other language, would that help me get better in writing code in the other language (i.e SAS).  I think it will.  I will check out Altaire SLC
