I got monyy6. format of date

what can it be I only know 5 or 7 as suggested by documentation

Why don't yo try?

  d=put(1,monyy5.);
  e=put(1,monyy6.);
  f=put(1,monyy7.);
run;

You'll see that the length of 6 yields the same string as a length of 5 but preceded by a space.
