You can create libraries in SAS UE. When setting up the VM, you can specifiy directories that are shared between the host system and the VM. In these directories you can create libraries(directories) with the normal host tools and then assign a libname in SAS.

These shared locations can also be used to put external files for import there.

You can only create library under a special fold .

libname x v9 '/folds/myfold/';

You can create multiple sub-fold under /folds/myfold/  and create multiple library based on it .
