I have a file ( sas or not sas file). it is open or used by an others users.

I want to know, it is used or open by which users ? by using sas or unix command

Guess that would be done on OS level via a Unix command. What's going to work will depend on your environment. Good thing is: There is heaps of information & discussions around this on the Internet. Just two links:
