start and stop object spawner from managment console

Hi administrators experts

Is there a way to start and stop the object spawner from managment console? the sas installation is on linux or i have to do it from linux command ?

You can pause and refresh it from SMC (sasadm@saspw), but the start has to be done from the operating system.
