I'd like to "run" this job from another program. I'm looking for an include funcionality but for jobs in sas viya 3.5 or higher.

Here's job and its related prompt but I want to prevent the user from accessing the code.

Therefore a caller from another program is highly appreciated.

Hello,

You need a

FILENAME Statement with the FILESRVC Access Method to make a fileref (file reference) pointing to that program.

Suppose your fileref is : abc.

Then do:

options source2;
%INCLUDE abc;

the "create file reference" option is not available for this kind of file (job). meanwhile this option shows up for .sas files it does not behave like this for jobs.

Sorry.

I thought it was a .sas program, but it is a job indeed.

Should be possible to!

I guess someone else will chime in. If not, I will give it a 2nd look tomorrow.

Thanks,

Koen
