Got this error but i'm not able to identify why so. i see that none of the users have locked or using this table.

ERROR: You cannot open TEMP_REF.APL_REF_COMP_CALC_PARAM.DATA for update access with member-level control because
TEMP_REF.APL_REF_COMP_CALC_PARAM.DATA is in use by you in resource environment Kernel.

Mostly cause is that you have some window on that dataset open. It might be view of the columns or dataset properties and not the data view but any window that has the potential for changing the data set characteristics will generally be reported as "in use" by many procedures.
