What does the "!" mean in the log?

Sometimes the ! is used to show a line-feed for LOG lines that doesn't fit. Please show an example to verify your situation.

Please provide some context. Include the log, or at least a few lines from the log that are around the "!". My logs don't usually have them unless I have included it in code.
