Hello

I am using proc means to calculate 3 statistics:

weighted average of interest on loans (weighted by sum of loans)

sum of loans

number of loans

In the output data set the value of sum of loans I get an error value.

I need to get 1500

data tbl;
input customer  sum_loan  interest;
cards;
1 100 5
2 200 4
3 300 4
4 400 3.5
5 500 2.8
;
run;

proc means data=tbl;
   weight sum_loan;
   var interest sum_loan;
   output out=pelet mean(interest)=weight_mean_interest
                    sum(sum_loan)=sum_loan
					n(sum_loan)=customer
;
run;

Thank you so much.

What "sumwgt" is doing?

Is it calculating sum without weight?
