proc import through odbc

Hi there

do you know any way of persuading proc import to access an excel workbook range through the SAS/Access Interface to ODBC.
.. ... ... (not sas/access to PC File formats)
enquiring minds want to know if it is possible;-)

Should be possible by using the n literal when specifying work-sheet name. There is a limitation on the total name lenght though:

but I don't think that works through proc import, at least I've found no way, so far. Looks like we need to revert to Access to PC File formats

Excel can be an ODBC data source so accessing it via SAS/ODBC should be possible.

I never tried it and SAS Access to PC File formats is sure much more convenient.
