passing quoted date to DB2

code below works, but is it possible to do it in one line :smileyconfused:

%LET dt =%sysfunc(putn(&s_date.,yymmddd10.));   

%LET sd1=%bquote(')&dt%bquote(');

Try: %LET dt =%str(%')%sysfunc(putn(&s_date.,yymmddd10.))%str(%');
