order of variables in proc report

ods html file='C:\Documents and Settings\skap\Desktop\xyz.xls';
proc report data=nation_first nowindows;
column provider region,(nor ms );
define provider/group;
define region/across;
define nor/analysis sum 'Units' format=comma12.;
define ms/analysis sum 'MS' format=percent8.2;
run;
ods html close;

In the above report "region" has following values:
CENTRAL,MIDATLANTIC,EAST,ROCKYMOUNTAIN SOUTHEAST ,WEST, NATION

When I create the report the variables are displayed alphabetically i.e CENTRAL,EAST...WEST.
How to dispaly the variables in the order shown above?
