I have some observations end with ‘#2’ for example. When I use data _null_ to output. #2 will be missing.
Foe example, I have (abddjjf #7). After output , it became (abddjjf). Anyone knows how to output the complete one?

And please be more specific, observations can't end with "#2", values of variables can end with "#2", is that what you mean?
Please supply example data (data step with datalines, see my footnotes), the code you used, and the log from that.
