Hello,

I am learning indexw. I understand that it is used t o find a word. So following codes is finding upcase(put(&_colvar,&_cfmt)) within "&_collvl"? what ' +' for?

These are the sorts of questions that the documentation will explain quickly and thoroughly. Examples similar to yours are given.

The ' +' are the delimiters which separate "words". So a space or a + sign is considered to be the separator between two "words".
