Currently I have this table below:

 

statusnot_recruitingstatus1recruiting
ABCD1 1
EFGH1EFGH1
HIJK1HIJK1
LMNO1 1
QRST1QRST1

 

Basically if status and status1 are not blank then I want the final site_status = "Recruiting"

if status1 is blank then i want the final status to be site_status = "Not recruiting" 

and I want to delete all the duplicates

 

i can get the if statement to work but i do not want to create more additional datasets. want to delete in one step
