how to run selected code without replacing previous run in SAS eg 8.4

In SAS Enterprise Guide 8.4, how to run selected code will NOT replace the previous output from running the full program. In SAS EG 7, when I run selected code, there is a prompt to ask if you replace or save as a different name.

So what is it that you don't want to replace? Your SAS log or your results or both? The option you refer to is gone in EG 8 but it is possible to keep a log history by having a project log.
